Name: Bonnie I. Walters Dates: Birth date: July 16, 1916 Death date: July 20, 2010 Obituary: Mason City – Bonnie I. Walters, 94, of Mason City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at the Good Shepherd Health Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 23, 2010 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1405 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev. Keith Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00PM - 7:00PM on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Avenue and continue one hour prior to the church service. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Bonnie Walters Memorial Fund in care of the family.
Bonnie was born, Bonnie I. White to Wallace and Erma (Gilbert) White on July 16, 1916, in Clear Lake, IA.
Bonnie is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband: Karl Walters of Mason City; daughter-in-law: Jeannette Kloberdanz of Mason City; grandchildren: Bonnie Burr (Mick) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Steve Cottrell of Council Bluffs, IA, Cindy Monaghan (Jeff) of Mason City, Kevin Kloberdanz of Oshkosh, WI, Kelly Kloberdanz of Mason City, Kirk Kloberdanz (Lori) of Mason City, and Kathy Schuess (Brian) of Cross Lake, MN. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings and her three children: Erma (Dolly) Cottrell, Wallace Kloberdanz, and William Kloberdanz. Memorials: Memorials may be directed to the Bonnie Walters Memorial Fund in care of the family. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5:00PM - 7:00PM on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Major Erickson Funeral Home and continue one hour prior to the church service.
